Atlanta Senior Residency CounselorMitchell, one of Park Springs’ Senior Residency Counselors, is passionate about making a positive impact. “It is important to me to spend time doing what makes a difference in the lives of many, and that is why I love my work at Park Springs,” she says.

“By helping people decide to make the move to Park Springs, I am helping families stay together. Here they can live their best lives, either independently, in assisted living, or in our top-rated nursing home, Pebblebrook at Cobblestone.”

Julie, who graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia, worked with advertising agencies, for profit companies and nonprofit organizations before joining Isakson Living’s sales and marketing team in 2004. She personally understands the need for CCRC’s as the vision for Isakson Living’s communities came from the experience of her own family and her grandparents, Ed and Julia Isakson.

“I came on board right before the grand opening of Park Springs ten years ago. Anresa Davis, our other Senior Residency Counselor, taught me so much, and in turn, I have been working closely with Sally Hutson. We have a great team here at Park Springs,” according to Julie.

Julie serves as a liaison between the larger Atlanta community and Isakson Living’s residential communities, Park Springs and Peachtree Hills Place, and remarks that “I can provide all the advice and information people may need, but ultimately, people have to be ready to move to Park Springs. But when they are ready, we are here to help them every step of the way.”

An energetic and enthusiastic do-er, Julie, an Atlanta native and mother of two young children, has served on the Executive Committee of the Shepherd Center’s Junior Committee, and served as co-chair of its fundraiser, Derby Day. She still serves on the Advisory Board for the Shepherd Center. Julie enjoys running and sprint triathlons and just completed the 2014 Disney Princess Half Marathon in Orlando. She is now getting ready to run the Publix Half Marathon later in March 2014. She also loves to cook for family and friends. “That’s where my artistic side comes out,” she smiles.
