With the professional support of Park Springs’ Fitness Center Manager, Reggie Porter, and Park Springs’ Director of Community Life Services, Jennifer Durham, it is easy for the Members at Park Springs to incorporate fitness in their lives – year-round.

The Park Springs Fitness Center offers a three-lane lap pool, a zero entry warm water therapy pool, a cardio and weight room, an aerobic room as well as men’s and women’s day lockers and showers.

Members can take both land and water fitness classes in a safe and monitored environment. Classes include:

  • ArthriCise – geared specifically to those with arthritis, the class improves joint flexibility and coordination and reduces muscle weakness, pain and stiffness.
  • Chair Yoga – uses all the principles of yoga to increase strength and flexibility.
  • Early Rise with Elgy – Saturday morning stretch and exercise with one of our members.
  • Exercise Now – get ready for a fun cardio workout with strength, endurance and flexibility.
  • Stretch, Tone & Balance – designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility.
  • Tai Chi – a great way to improve core strength, mental focus, balance and posture.
  • Water Aerobics – increases cardio fitness, balance and flexibility with water exercises.
  • Water Volleyball – played with a beach ball, all fitness levels are welcomed to this member led activity.
  • Water Yoga – blends Yoga and Tai Chi into a safe water workout for improved flexibility, breathing and balance.

“We believe in fitness for health and for fun,” says Reggie. “Come enjoy our state-of the art Fitness Center on your own or take one or more of the great classes we offer throughout the week, such as those that focus on stretching, strengthening and endurance building. We make it fun for all ability levels.”
