Five Generations of Park Springs Fans

PS-Perloff-5-gen-2Mrs. Carrie Perloff decided to move to Park Springs more than ten years ago, before the first home in Atlanta’s premier retirement community was even completed – and she has been a great fan of Park Springs ever since.

As one of the original Members to move to the beautifully landscaped 54-acre gated neighborhood, Mrs. Perloff selected a spacious villa in the 2000 Building overlooking the lake, with a view of Stone Mountain. From her cozy porch, she enjoys Stone Mountain fireworks throughout the summer.

PS-Mrs.-Perloff.AudreyHer home at Park Springs is a happy gathering spot for her family, and during the most recent holiday season, all five generations of her family celebrated together. This was the first time that Mrs. Perloff met her great-great-granddaughter Audrey, who was born earlier in the year.

A long-time Tucker resident, it was important for Mrs. Perloff to move to a retirement community that was still close to her church and her friends. Fortunately, the actual move to Park Springs was easy and pleasant, and once settled in, she quickly became a fan of WII bowling, the outstanding dining venues and the convenience of having a bank, a small library and even a beauty shop within walking distance from her new home.

PS-Perloff-5-gen.For her family, the fact that Park Springs offers a continuum of care right on the Park Springs campus was another major reason to encourage Mrs. Perloff to select the luxury retirement community.

“It gives us peace of mind to know that my mother, should she need additional care, would not need to move away from her friends and her beloved Park Springs with its fabulous staff and great amenities. The community offers outstanding Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Care, and there is even a dedicated area for Memory Care: Julia’s Suites,” says her daughter Jayne. “For all five generations of our family, having these options available to her is such a comfort.”

When Jayne moved to Lake Oconee, more than an hour from Park Springs, she did look for a retirement community for her mother that was a bit closer, but they quickly learned that “…nothing offers the same things Park Springs does. This community is top of the line. I am always happy to recommend it to some of my friends who are looking for an active, well-managed and truly first class retirement community.”

Fortunately, Lisa, Mrs. Perloff’s granddaughter, lives a bit closer in Lawrenceville and joins her for dinner regularly.

“Now I am a grandmother, and I get to share the pictures of our grandbaby Audrey with my grandmother! I guess you can imagine that there was nothing more precious than when we all, including the Tampa branch of our family, got together in December,” smiles Lisa.

The pictures speak for themselves.
