Brenda started working at Park Springs in November 2011 as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and was promoted to her current position in July 2013. In her role, she enjoys educating current Park Springs Members about the excellent facilities available to them right on the senior community’s 54-acre campus.

“I enjoy visiting with Members who are considering to move from independent living. I am here to answer their many questions and help them and their families make this important decision. I also meet with representatives in various area hospitals and nurse practitioners to market the services we offer, and to outline the many options available to seniors right here at Park Springs,” says Brenda.

Brenda, who was born and raised in Tuscaloosa (AL), has more than 26 years of nursing experience, mostly hands-on in the elderly community.

“This job gives me much satisfaction. I do my very best to make sure that especially the family members of the person moving into Cobblestone are happy. We work closely together, and I also carefully coordinate any move with social workers, doctors and case managers as needed to make sure that it is a smooth process for all involved,” explains Brenda.

In her spare time, Brenda, the mother of two daughters, also nurses, and grandmother of six, enjoys working out, shopping and traveling. She has a passion for interior decorating and is an accomplished seamstress as well. She and her husband reside in Snellville where their yard is their pride and joy.
