Pam Cook, Health Center Administrator at Cobblestone, the comprehensive on-site health center at the luxury Park Springs retirement community, joined the company’s management team in June 2015 and oversees the community’s Skilled Nursing Center.

Pam, a Long Term Care Administrator licensed in Georgia and Texas, has built a distinguished career in the senior care industry in a variety of leadership positions.

“I am delighted to be part of this great team of professionals at Cobblestone. The best part of my job is to be able to link our employees with whatever they need to provide the highest level of specialized care to our Park Springs Members,” says Pam, who adds: “That’s how I can help all of us grow and meet our Members’ needs one day, one crisis, one challenge at a time.”

Kevin Isakson, Director of Sales and Marketing with Isakson Living, owner and operator of Park Springs, appreciates Pam’s leadership skills. “We value her energy, expertise and professional insights,” he notes.

Many options, many services

“Even though information is getting out there to alert the growing senior population of the many different housing and service options people have for the next stage in their lives, and even though many prospective Members are proactive, we also regularly assist seniors and their families who say, ‘Why did we not move to Park Springs sooner?’” according to Pam.

“At Park Springs, we have such a variety of services to offer – and I wish that more people took advantage of these services before there was a real crisis. At the same time, we completely understand that each individual comes to their own decision to move here in their own timeframe.”

She is often reminded of Mark Twain’s saying, “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”

Access to Assisted Living and Memory Care and Skilled Nursing Care at Cobblestone is assured for any Member who lives at Park Springs, the award-winning continuing care retirement community in Stone Mountain.

Pam, who grew up in Monroe/West Monroe in Louisiana (known by some as home of the Duck Dynasty), lives in Lawrenceville. She is an artist, and a certified art teacher. “I enjoy all mediums of the visual arts and try to get my hands dirty as often as I can gardening. In addition, I travel frequently and enjoy being on the back of a motorcycle, and even aspire to buy my own this spring!”

Her three grown daughters and two lovely granddaughters are Pam’s pride and joy; her daughters have earned five college degrees between them and all have pursued military service.

“Like my grandmother told me: ‘You can do anything you set your mind to.’ We tend to believe her!” says Pam.
