We had so much fun closing out October with our member costume party and pumpkin carving. Now as we head into November it brings cool air, changing leaves and the beginning of the holidays!

This month Park Springs is offering a variety of events for all our members ranging from museum tours to the perfect musical to get you in the holiday spirit. With so many things to choose from our members are out and about enjoying the finest Atlanta has to offer.

Tour of the State Capitol & Lunch at Benihana: Wednesday, November 8

Members can experience Georgia history first-hand at the Georgia Capitol Museum. Learn the history of the Capitol and important figures from Georgia history. The Georgia Capitol museum seeks to preserve and interpret the history that has taken place within its walls. Following the tour members will head over to Benihana’s to complete their afternoon on the town.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Classical Series: Verdi’s Requiem: Thursday, November 16

Conductor Donald Runnicles brings the multiple Grammy award-winning combination to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for our members to enjoy! This star-studded performance features Erin Wall, Jamie Barton and Dimitri Pittas. Verdi’s Requiem is a bucket list experience that you can’t miss.

Aurora Theater Christmas Canteen: Saturday, November 18

An Aurora Theatre original and Gwinnett’s longest-running theatrical holiday tradition, Christmas Canteen returns for a 22nd year! Members love this stunning musical filled with songs of the season, sketch comedy, amazing theatrics and a touch of nostalgia. Christmas Canteen is the perfect way for any member to kick off the holiday season!
