Taking Out the Trash

On May 13th, 2012, we had our 2nd Annual Shred Day provided by A Shred Ahead from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Our Annual Shred Day is an opportunity for our employees and members to eliminate unwanted, out-dated and unnecessary paper free of charge to them.

Now I know that you are asking, why shred? Well let me tell you why…identity theft is an increasing problematic epidemic in this country; the FTC estimates that as many as 9 million Americans become victims of identity theft each year. Research suggests that most identity thieves gain their information from paper more often than electronics.

Our Annual Shred day helps to protect our company, as well as our employees and members, by allowing them to dispose of their documents securely.

Thanks to A Shred Ahead and our wonderful staff our annual shred day was the talk of the day and a big success. A Shred Ahead provided the truck and a wonderful driver who assisted all of our members and employees.

All of the documents were securely disposed of right on site and the best part of it was that the members and employees were even able to see their documents being shredding thanks to the little small computer installed on the truck. What a big success, I can’t wait to do it again.
