JasonCronkParkSpringsMeet Jason Cronk, Park Springs’ Executive Director

Jason Cronk joined Park Springs Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in September 2012 as Executive Director, and in a recent interview shared his delight to be part of the Park Springs’ management team and the vibrant senior community.

“I am especially impressed with the hands-on involvement of the principals of Isakson Living, the owner and operator of Park Springs. Andy Isakson, Managing Manager, and Kevin Isakson, Director of Sales and Marketing, truly have the best interests of the Park Springs members at heart. They are actively involved in the day-to-day operations as well as the strategic planning, and I have found them to be incredibly responsive to our members’ needs. Their personal commitment to establish and maintain Park Springs as the region’s superior CCRC is incomparable – a definite positive!”

Cronk, who previously worked in the retirement community industry in Chapel Hill (NC), notes that there are many more CCRC’s in the Raleigh – Durham – Chapel Hill area than in the Atlanta metro area.

“The Atlanta market has many opportunities for growth; there is no deep CCRC penetration here compared to North Carolina. Physicians trained in geriatrics are not as prevalent in the Atlanta market as what I have seen working with both the University of North Carolina and Duke University market areas.

“That’s why having our Medical Director and geriatric specialist Dr. Margaret White on site is an added plus for people who are considering moving to Park Springs. By providing a full-time geriatrician on site, members have easy access to their doctor and individual wellness program information.”

Cronk sees many possibilities for Park Springs to continue to grow in importance to seniors in the region and envisions that one day, Park Springs will be a geriatric resource center for the surrounding counties.

“We know that there are many needs for senior services beyond our walls, and we are looking at viable options that Park Springs may be able to provide as an extra safety net for seniors in the area.

“Right now, though, we are focusing on our core competencies and outstanding services for our members. I am honored to be part of the great Park Springs team.”
