Valet

Supervisor: Director of Community Life Services

    The Valet ensures the safe and efficient parking of member and guest vehicles. A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Member is a must. Provide safe, reliable, courteous and efficient valet service.

Principle Duties:

Essential Job Duties:

  • Meet, greet and assist members, guests, and vendors arriving and departing the community.
  • Assists members and guest out of the vehicle along with any assistive mobility devices.
  • Parks and retrieves resident and visitor vehicles upon request.
  • Provides a customer service attitude to residents and guests at all times.
  • Serves as back-up for the Concierge or On-Campus Shuttle as necessary.

Other Duties:

  • Opens residents’ doors and assists with mobility devices as requested.
  • Assists with special events as needed.
  • Assists in seasonal snow/ice removal as requested.
  • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
  • Must be CPR, AED and First Aid certified, preferred.
  • Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.
  • Performs other work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively, handle a multitude of tasks at one time and provide a customer service attitude at all times.
  • Ability to move 25 pounds.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

    Updated November 2018 Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. independently. Must be able to push residents in wheelchairs as needed. May be exposed to high and low temperatures (from assisting residents and visitors into and out of vehicles, and loading and unloading vehicles). Must be able to walk and/or stand for 60% of the workday. Must be able to sit for up to three hours at a time. Must have manual dexterity for keyboarding and completing office procedures. Must be able to hear, see, and speak.
Registered Nurse – RN
Starting rate $33.37

  • Seeking RN with skilled nursing experience in short term care setting. 7PM – 7AM. 4 star facility.
  • Direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for CNAs.
  • Teamwork and communication skills are important.
  • Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
HVAC Mechanic
Starting rate $20.14

Supervisor: Maintenance Supervisor and/ or Director of Facility Service

    Park Springs is currently seeking a HVAC Mechanic to be responsible for the continuous safe operations and prevent age maintenance of all major HVAC equipment, including apartment/public area heat pumps refrigeration equipment, PRV valves, cooling towers pump, motors, hot water systems heater/chillers and building automation system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs requested maintenance and replacement of all HVAC equipment, refrigeration equipment, etc. as necessary.
  • Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
  • Inspect, monitors and evaluates efficiency and safety of systems to insure trouble free operation.
  • Reads blueprints and isometrics, prepare sketches as required to document work.
  • Performs all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturers recommendations.
  • Complete all issued in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task (s) performed along with all prescribed/ pertinent equipment information.
  • Performs shop repair on equipment as necessary.
  • Trains maintenance staff to provide assistance when needed.
  • Support internship program.
  • Adhere to operational policies and procedures developed by the community.
  • Performs additional duties requested by the Director of Plant Operations in order ensure the effective and effective operation in the community.
  • Attendance is essential to this job. Must maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in attendance policy.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are represented of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
  • Must have knowledge of HCAC including but not limited to hydronic, PTAC and rooftop units. must have a working Knowledge of commercial electrical and pluming systems.
  • Must have the ability to adjust to new industry techniques and become familiar with new equipment as required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff. Must function under general supervision
Utility Worker F&B

Job Duties

Preventive Maintenance Technician
Starting rate $15.57

Supervisor: Director of Plant Operations

    Park Springs is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and perform intermediate repair of apartment and public area HVAC equipment along with the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of semi -skilled task that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tool and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public area including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures pipes and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, repairing doors and locks etc.
  • Performs necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment as assigned.
  • Performs all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufactures’ recommendations.
  • Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
  • Complete all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed /pertinent equipment information.
  • Will assist other Maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repairs.
  • Assist in maintaining proper levels of material/supplies for neighborhood assigned to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks.
  • Will be expected to work a reasonable number of schedules and on-call” overtime as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties requested by the Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance, and Dir. of General Services to ensure the effective and efficient operation the community.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances. Must have knowledge of HVAC. Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff. Must function under general supervision. Must be flexible and have integrity. Must possess the ability of effectively work with residents and staff. High School or GED. Should Possess 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment.
Line Cook
Starting rate $12.31

  • Prepares soups, stocks, boils, braises and roasts items as per standardized recipes.
  • Prepares and serves all sautéed, fried, grilled, steamed and baked items as per standardized recipes.
  • Prepares or directs the preparation of all food served, following standard recipes and special diet orders.
  • Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, so that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved.
  • Determines amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and seeing that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production.
Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN
Starting rate $20.62

  • Open schedule staffing.
  • 12 hour shifts. Currently offering PT/PRN.
  • Supports Independent Living with on-call consultation.
  • Provides assisted living Members with monthly assessments, weekly drug reconciliation, and consultation.
  • Teamwork, lateral service, and communication skills are a must.
Care Partners – CMA
Starting rate $11.55

  • Seeking CMA medication administration experience in assisted living care setting.
  • Open schedule staffing.
  • 8 hour shifts. Currently offering PT with future option for FT.
  • Care Partners work in the household model of care.
  • Hospitality and/or food and beverage experience a plus.
  • Teamwork, lateral service, and communication skills are a must.
