Four Great Dining Venues at Park Springs

dining venuePark Springs has the unique distinction of offering four outstanding dining venues at the Park Springs retirement community: the Market Café Bistro, the Main Dining Room, the Springhouse Grill and the Park Springs Pub.

“Every day at Park Springs, we serve between 700 and 800 meals in our four different restaurants, including lunch and dinner for our Park Springs Members as well as for the residents at our Cobblestone Health Center. And I am not even counting the meal service for our 200 staff members,” notes Executive Chef Derrick Henry, CEC, who has been running the kitchens for all restaurants since 2007.

Chef Henry notes that he is very conscious of healthy preparations of the many dishes offered in the Park Springs restaurants. He works closely with Margot Witteveen, Park Springs’ dietitian on staff, to offer a variety of well-balanced choices.

“In our kitchens, we only use the freshest ingredients. We serve Certified Angus Beef and Springer Mountain Farms chicken, and we also continually develop delicious new low-calorie, gluten-free or reduced sodium dishes for Members who need to watch their intake.

“Most importantly, though,” he says,” is to please and surprise our discerning Park Springs Members, their families and their guests. We have taken the dining experience at Park Springs to a whole new level.”
