Four Park Springs Dining Venues Offer Fresh, Delicious Choices

One of the most unique features of Park Springs, Atlanta’s premier luxury retirement community, is the fact that Park Springs offers four outstanding dining venues right on its beautiful 54-acre campus: the Market Café Bistro, the Main Dining Room, the Springhouse Grill and the Park Springs Pub.

Derrick Henry, Executive ChefExecutive Chef Derrick Henry, CEC, who has been running the kitchens for all four restaurants since 2007, notes: “Every day at Park Springs, we serve between 700 and 800 meals in the different restaurants, including lunch and dinner for our Park Springs Members as well as for the residents at our Cobblestone Health Center. And I am not even counting the meal service for our 200 staff members!”

At Park Springs, the Dining Room menus are written on a 6-week cycle; menus for the Grill, Bistro and Cobblestone are constant overall with a few changes every day.

DSC09350Chef Henry is very conscious of healthy preparations of the many dishes offered in the Park Springs restaurants. He works closely with Margot Witteveen, Park Springs’ dietitian on staff, to offer a variety of well-balanced choices. “Our goal is to please and delight our discerning Park Springs Members, their families and their guests. We have taken the dining experience at Park Springs to a whole new level.”

Park Springs only uses the freshest ingredients. “We serve Certified Angus Beef and Ashley Farms chicken, and we also continually develop delicious new low-calorie, gluten-free or reduced sodium dishes for Members who need to watch their intake. Most fish is fresh; Park Springs’ fabulous crab cakes are made with real crab,” notes Chef Henry, who encourages Members to ask for items to be prepared – their way.
