Get Well Soon! Park Springs Offers “Recovery Menu” During Cold & Flu Season

At Park Springs, the premier retirement community in Atlanta, Chef Derrick Henry, Executive Chef and Margot Witteveen, Registered Dietitian, have designed a special Park Springs ‘Recovery Menu’ that might be just what the doctor ordered.

“When you are not feeling well, you need to stay hydrated and eat what you can. That’s why we came up with this simple but effective recovery menu for our Members who may be feeling under the weather,” says Witteveen.

“At Park Springs we make it easy for our Members to recuperate, and our staff at The Bistro will be happy to take orders – just call extension 3045.”

The Park Springs Recovery Menu includes:

Liquids:

Clear Broth, Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, Gatorade, Yogurt, Jell-o, Non-caffeinated, Non-dairy liquids, Hot Tea, and Ginger Ale or Sprite.

Soft Bland Foods:

Egg Noodles, Mashed Potatoes, Hard Boiled Eggs, Oatmeal, Banana, Applesauce Or Dry Toast.
