Game Nights at Park Springs
Bingo is a simple and popular game that anyone can play. On Monday nights, members at Park Springs meet in the community hall for an evening of bingo and an opportunity to socialize with friends. Everyone is invited to this weekly game night.

Bridge is another weekly game offered at Park Springs. Bridge is a four person game played in teams of two. The object of the game is to win or take as many tricks as possible. A trick contains four cards, one for each player. When a card is played, each player must play a card of the same suit if possible. The highest card of that suit wins the trick. Whether you’ve been playing for years, or if it’s your first time, everyone is welcome to come out and play with your friends and neighbors.

For those who prefer a game that gets you up and moving, Petanque is a great game that can be played outside in the lovely Georgia sun and is quit popular at Park Springs. The game begins by tossing out a small wooden ball called a cochonnet. Then, each team must try to throw their colored balls as close to the cochoneet as possible. The score is constantly changing and you never know who will win or lose until the game is over. All members are invited to come out and try an exciting game of Pentanque at Park Springs.

If you like a game with numbers, Rummikub consists of colorful numbered tiles and a few wild tiles. The object is to connect as many sets and runs of numbers as possible until you run out. The first player to use all of their tiles wins the game. Rummikub is a fun game that can be played with two to four people. Every Tuesday in the game room, members at Park Springs come out to enjoy good company and a good game.

When you are in the mood for a word game, Scrabble is the first thing that comes to mind. Most people are familiar with this popular board game, making it a great option for those looking to get involved and meet some new friends to enjoy their Atlanta retirement with them. For anyone who hasn’t played before, the object of the game is to use lettered tiles to form words on the playing board. Each letter has a specific point value, and you raise your score by building bigger words and connecting to other players’ words. Scrabble is a fun way to use your brain and socialize with other members at Park Springs.
