Cobblestone Members Enjoy Fall Harvest Activity

Members cut and decorated cookies in the shape of leaves and pumpkins. After baking, each cookie was given to a fellow member of their choice to enjoy. Pictured below, Nurse Jeanea Walters and Chef Kiki Walters assist the Members of Cobblestone with Harvest fun.

“I’ve missed you so much!”

Mr. Vernon Stuebing returning home after a hospital stay, is greeted by his wife of 60+ years Mrs. Margret Stuebing. He wanted to surprise her. When he entered the household Mrs. Stuebing was so excited to see her husband she said “Bob is that you? I’ve missed you so much.” With that Mr. Stuebing beckoned her over and gave her a big kiss.

HEALTH SERVICES
The Week Ahead

We have partnered with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine- Georgia campus to start a pen pal program between students in the Gold Humanism Honor Society and our members! We are excited for the opportunity to facilitate relationships between our members at Cobblestone and Pebblebrook and the students. Also, we have reached out to the Central Outreach & Advocacy Center in Atlanta about donating blankets to the homeless. We are going to make tie fleece blankets with the members, at both Cobblestone and Pebblebrook, to donate!

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has started a virtual concert series that we have signed up for. The members really enjoy the shows and we are glad to be able to bring the arts to our members in a way that is safe, yet enjoyable!
