Pioneering a New Model of Care

Storied Living at Park Springs

At Park Springs, we believe the foundation of exceptional senior care lies in recognizing that behind every physical need is a person with a lifetime of experiences and a story yearning to be told.
That’s why our revolutionary Storied Living approach ensures your narrative continues to unfold in meaningful ways. The result is a vibrant community where every Member’s story is honored and celebrated.

Based on People, Not Protocols

Traditional senior living often focuses on medical protocols and rigid schedules. At Park Springs, we’ve spent over two decades developing our Storied Living philosophy—a person-led, relationship-driven approach that radically transforms that dynamic.

Here, you won’t find clinical environments, uniforms, or medicine carts. Instead, you’ll discover warm, homelike spaces filled with meaningful objects, comfortable gathering areas, and Care Partners who are dedicated and trained to engage with your loved one’s story and support their unique preferences.

Creating Homes, Not Institutions

The heart of our community lies in our innovative household model, where genuine relationships flourish. Each household functions as its own family unit, offering Members the perfect balance of independence and support while fostering natural friendships with neighbors who share similar interests.

Within these intimate settings, Members enjoy private bedrooms, open kitchens, abundant natural light, outdoor access, and inviting shared spaces—all thoughtfully designed to inspire engagement and spark joy.

Spirit Training: The Secret to Genuine Connections

Every Member is supported by Care Partners who are carefully selected for their natural emotional intelligence and enhanced through our Spirit Training program. This comprehensive training transforms traditional caregiving into genuine relationships.

With intentionally low staff-to-Member ratios, our Care Partners have the time and resources to move beyond task-oriented care to devote themselves to your loved one’s wellbeing. This trained sensitivity allows them to recognize and respond to the emotions behind each Member’s words and actions, creating moments of authentic understanding and connection.

Member & Caregiver
Care Partners

Care Partners provide diligent personal care and services as they implement your loved one’s overall plan of care. On a daily basis, they assist with meals, housekeeping, laundry services, and engaging conversation and activities.

Homemakers

Homemakers are responsible for preparing the meals and snacks for the household. Rather than adhering to a set menu, homemakers enjoy making meals that honor your loved one’s favorite foods and preferences. Send along their favorite recipes and we will make them. This flexibility extends to meal times too. Breakfast is served when your loved one gets up just like home. They can also help plan special events and celebrations such as birthdays and special anniversaries.

Nurses

Nurses support the wellness of your loved one and work closely with the Care Partners to support their overall health and function. They also serve as a liaison with the onsite Geriatrician and Nurse Practitioner.

Guides

Guides serve as a coach and mentor for Care Partners and Homemakers and the primary contact for the Member’s family. They work closely with the team to provide a high level of support to each household and make sure that everything is running smoothly. In Memory Care, a dedicated Memory Care Guide serves as each family’s single point of contact, keeping the conversation about a loved one’s care constant and candid.

On-site Wellness with a Full-time Geriatrician

Our Members enjoy convenient access to comprehensive care without ever having to leave our campus. Park Springs is one of the few senior living communities where you will find an on-site Wellness Clinic. Open five days a week, the Clinic is led by board-certified Geriatricians who bring experience in Geriatric Medicine, Primary Care, and Family Medicine to our community. Our doctors are supported by a Nurse Practitioner.

Care Navigators
Care Navigators

Care Navigators are licensed professionals who walk with Members and families through every transition. They assess needs, recommend the right level of care, and stay involved from the first conversation until your loved one is settled, so no family has to navigate a change in care on their own.

Empowering Independence and Engagement

Our community empowers Members to remain as independent as possible while staying fully engaged in daily life. From participating in household activities to pursuing personal interests through vibrant activities, outings, and events, Members make meaningful choices about their days.

We have even transformed mealtimes into daily opportunities for connection and joy. Our culinary approach balances brain-healthy nutrition with comfort foods. And each meal is a meaningful social occasion where Care Partners and Members share conversation around the table, just as families do at home.

Every chapter of life shapes who you are.
We look forward to helping you or your loved one continue to craft a vibrant narrative at Park Springs.
