24 Nov TouchTown App Puts Technology at Park Springs Members’ Fingertips
A personal concierge for every Member, all the time!
Earlier this month, the newly designed for seniors TouchTown App went live at Park Springs, the premier retirement community in Atlanta, connecting each Member via their tablets, smart phones and PC’s to the many services and programs that are offered at Park Springs every day.
“By providing access to the new TouchTown App to each of our Members through their own personal log-in, it’s like we have given each of them their own concierge,” says Jennifer Durham, Director of Community Services at Park Springs, who spearheaded the roll-out of TouchTown to Park Springs’ 500+ Members, as well as all the Staff Departments.
Members who use this App on their smart device will find everything they need in one place. It’s easy and simple to use, and allows them to stay engaged with daily life at Park Springs. Via the Touchtown App, Members are able to sign up for events, submit transportation requests and service orders, and check today’s menu – any time of the day, from anywhere!
There are lots of other ways TouchTown makes life on Park Springs’ beautiful 54+ acre campus even more enjoyable, such as:
- Personal messages – Park Springs can deliver personal messages to each resident without complicated email interfaces, so that each member gets the information they need quickly and reliably. Perfect for weather advisories, or to send appointment reminders and meeting alerts.
- Soon, a Member Directory will be added, including contact information and a profile section. This will encourage Members to share information about their educational or professional background, and make it even easier to interact with each other.
- Transit Request: With a few screen taps, Members can tell the Park Springs Transportation Department where they are going, when, and how many people are going with them.

“Already, our Members are having a lot of fun using TouchTown,” notes Durham. “It’s easy, it’s efficient, and using TouchTown is also quite green – just think of all the paper directories and forms that will no longer be necessary!”
